A knife attack in Illinois, USA, has resulted in 4 deaths and 7 injuries, and a suspect has been arrested.
Rockford police said they received reports one after another after 1 p.m. local time on Wednesday that someone was injured in different locations. It is currently believed that there is only one suspect in the case, and the 22-year-old man has been arrested. The motive for the crime is not yet clear, and the police are calling on nearby residents to provide information.
The police initially said there were 5 injured, but later revised it to 7, and one of the injured was in critical condition.
Rockford is about 145 kilometers northwest of Chicago. A few days ago, a Walmart branch in the area also saw a blood case where a young employee was stabbed to death in the store.
